Gratitude Is a Key to Healing

I have always been grateful but during mentoring a couple years ago, I was encouraged to the journal.  Keeping a gratitude journal has increased my happiness and has kept me out of depression while I continue to heal & walk through my life lessons. I learned there is no right way or wrong way to journal.  Every day I write down what I am grateful for.  That saying is true.  “Not every day may be good, but there is good in every day!”

I write down as many things that I am grateful for as I can remember.  If you decide to do it you too will realize that Once you start, you realize just how blessed you truly are.  Even on those days that you want to scream!

This year I embarked on a fun project with gratitude.  I have a gratitude – happiness in that, daily I record all the things that I am grateful for.  You might want to write your gratitude down in a journal, put into a jar, voice record them, or take pictures.

This is a photo of my gratitude jar and looks at all my slips!!1761602_orig It is so fun to tip the jar out on Jan 1st and read all the amazing blessings I had during this year.

Every morning I start by thanking God that I am alive to see another beautifully blessed day. Then I go about my day.

It is true, the more you are grateful for, the more God gives us to be grateful.

In gratitude, Giuliana
