Water, Water, Water

Water is one of the most important nutrients of the body.  Your body loses water through breathing, sweating, and digestion.  It is very important to rehydrate yourself.

THE FUNCTIONS OF WATER ARE:

  • Removes waste and toxins
  • Protects tissue and the spine
  • Lubricates joints
  • Energizes muscles
  • Aids our digestion of food
  • Prevents dehydration
  • Prevents constipation
  • Regulates body temperature
  • Carries oxygen to all our cells and blood
  • Maintains a balance of body fluids
  • Helps our skin look good
  • Maintains the kidneys and urine production

FOUR TIPS TO GET MORE WATER IN:

  1. Drink water at every meal and snack time
  2. Eat more fruit and veggies as they contain water
  3. Keep water in a glass bottle in the car, desk, office etc.
  4. Stay motivated to drink water by using a glass, bottle or mug you love to drink from.

We need at least eight glasses a day.  Drink lots of water and give up coffee and caffeine containing dehydrating drinks.  Drink herbal tea in place of plain water.

Hydration is so vitally important to all of our body organs.   Water gets absorbed in the duodenum and jejunum ( the bowels) and then passes into the colon where it then goes into the bloodstream and into every cell.  Drinking water is part of a healthy lifestyle.  Water is important to fitness and fat loss as

  • It fills us up
  • It is good for us
  • Helps with elimination

Check your urine today.  If it is bright yellow, then the body is telling you you need more water. If it is a pale yellow, then good job on your water intake!!

Our body is 60% water.  The body uses water in all of its cells, organs, and tissues that help regulate temperature and keeps all our organs and bodily functions running smoothly.

Sometimes when you are hungry, it could be because you are dehydrated.  Drink your water!

Water is also what is used to bless us and clean our body and energy.

Bathing is not only cleansing of the body but also clearing the aura.  Add sea salt, Epsom salt and baking soda to the bath for a clearing bath.

There is such a thing as too much of a good thing.  Drinking too much water or an extreme amount in a short time can cause salt in your blood to drop too low.  It is very serious and can become fatal.  You may have heard of this condition as  “water intoxication” or medically as “hyponatremia.”

Learn to love your water.  Be grateful for your water.  Bless it as you drink it.  Thank Mother Earth for our abundance of water as there are many areas that it is becoming depleted.  Be mindful of your consumption and use low flow toilets, and don’t run it unnecessarily.

Water is one of our greatest resources.  Treat it well.  Water does a body good.

Dehydration can cause low energy and imbalances in your body.  It is time to increase your water and pray over it.  Drink water often.   

He says to avoid anything that can dehydrate you.  Don’t drink from plastic and instead use glass to keep your water pure.
