Are Your Chakras Balanced?

Spiritual Adventures for Women is based on finding fun and adventure by getting rid of the subconscious symptoms of stress. I am going to discuss the patterns that add stress to our lives and the misconceptions that keep us from breaking free. You will find out how Chakra Balance works, how stress affects your health, and how to tell if you have any Chakras that are stressed, blocked or overstimulated.

We are all SO creative in the ways we handle stress, and how we adjust to its effects on our health, happiness, and ability to succeed.

We over-schedule, power through, pushing our minds, emotions, and bodies to the limit. The deadly effects of stress just keep being stored away, buried, a ticking time bomb.

A general understanding of energy and how it interacts with our physical bodies starts with the Chakra system.

The Chakras are 7 energy centers that are located up and down your spine, both sending and receiving energy. The Base and the Crown Chakras are vertical, sending energy down into the ground, and up, through the top of your head. The other 5 Chakras are horizontal, sending energy both in front and behind you.

Think of this as being surrounded in a circle of Vibrating energy.

Your energy field expands and contracts as needed. Quiet time alone, you will automatically pull in your field. Entering a crowded room, you will expand, and when talking and interacting, your field will mix with another’s field.

Being conscious of this and setting an intention adds power to your communications with others, and is highly effective.

Chakras are affected by relationships, situations, events and especially, by your emotional reactions to them.

Stress from exposure to toxins, bad diet, conflict, deadlines and electronic devices, all add to an energetic build up that might be seen as a cloud or a blockage, also called an imprint. This weakens your signal.

Accidents, traffic, surgery, grief, fear and anger cause the opposite problem, a rip or a tear in your field. This wastes your signal.

The blockage causes you to shut down like you can’t breathe, and the rips cause a nervous feeling because you are losing energy like a poorly insulated house in winter.

You are said to be “Balanced” when your chakra centers are at neither of these extremes, all working together to keep you healthy. This is the first step in Energy Balance.

ARE YOUR CHAKRAS BALANCED?

Take this quick quiz to see if you are experiencing symptoms of energetic stress.

  • Do you struggle to really take care of yourself?
  • Is there a constant undertone of worry?
  • Are you in a relationship that isn’t intimate?
  • Do you have a hard time feeling completely relaxed?
  • Do you have an ongoing chronic condition?
  • Do you find yourself repeating self-destructive habits?
  • Has feeling good turned into feeling good enough?

If you answered YES to any of the questions, you do have subconscious stress, and it is being renewed with every cell you create. As you become proactive to release this stress, you will start to create better cells, as your body naturally replaces them.

Learn to recognize stress symptoms before they start to eat away at your immune system, your blood pressure and take away your joy.

When you become aware of the damage that stress causes, and take steps to reverse that damage sooner, you stay in preventative care, instead of allowing stress to get you into crisis management care.

Preventive care means to get ahead of the problem by claiming time for yourself, setting loving boundaries and developing new daily habits. A 15-minute meditation at work can change your day. It is not enough to dream of a vacation. Stress is a daily dragon to fight.

This is very self-empowering, healing symptoms of stress before they enter your physical body. Quick, easy, gentle, effective and non-interventive!

I have found through my Holistic Stress Management practice that we often stay in the state of stress because of 3 main misconceptions:

1. We can control our stress by taking a logical approach to diffuse it.

2. We should be strong enough to handle it because stress is just a part of life.

3. We can contain stress in one area and not let it affect the rest.

None of these statements are true. Ignoring the symptoms that are screaming that we need to self-care is the reason that stress is the cause of all disease.

In my next article in Spiritual Biz Magazine, we will discuss the “first responders” that your chakra system uses to warn you, and some solutions to feel stress-free forever.
